IXP Celebrates NNO 2023 with Local NJ PDs and the Communities They Serve.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign held nationwide, aimed at promoting neighborhood camaraderie, fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and residents, and increasing awareness about crime prevention and safety.

This event, which has been celebrated since 1984, encourages neighbors to come together and create safer, more vibrant communities through various activities and gatherings. National Night Out serves as a powerful platform to unite people from all walks of life, promoting a sense of solidarity, trust, and cooperation in the fight against crime and enhancing the overall quality of life in neighborhoods across the country.

On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, IXP supported four of their local NJ-based communities and their police departments with a fun-filled passport-driven scavenger hunt activity that asked kids to interact with local uniformed officers, EMS, and firefighters in order to receive a sticker in their book. Once each child received four stickers for their book, they were rewarded with a blinking safety armband courtesy of IXP.

Towns participating in NNO events were the Borough of Hightstown, East Windsor, the Municipality of Princeton, and the Township of Lawrence.

IXP is a proud supporter of law enforcement and the public safety industry.
