7th Annual IACP – IXP Excellence in Technology Award Program

The IACP- IXP Excellence in Technology Award Program recognizes law enforcement agencies’ superior achievement and innovation in the field of communications and information technology. This international awards program is designed to recognize exceptional and innovative technology-based programs that benefit law enforcement. Award achievements will be recognized in the areas of “Innovation in Information Technology”, “Response to Computer Related Crime”, and “Excellence in Law Enforcement Communications and Interoperability”. Four awards will be given in each of the following categories:

  • Small: 50 or fewer sworn personnel
  • Medium: 51 to 200 sworn personnel
  • Large: 200+ sworn personnel
  • Regional/Multi Jurisdictional Organization: Any size

Agencies selected to receive this award will be recognized at the 34th Annual IACP Law Enforcement Information Management (LEIM) Training Conference and Exposition to be held in Atlanta, Georgia, May 24-27, 2010. Award plaques will be presented to the chief executive officer of each winning agency during an evening reception on Monday, May 24, at the Hyatt Regency. Each award also includes two complimentary full conference registrations.

Travel and related expenses for award winners to attend the awards ceremony and the IACP LEIM conference are the sole responsibility of the winning agencies. Award winners will be showcased in the Police Chief Magazine and other IACP membership forums.
