Day Shift’s performance on this date was nothing less than extraordinary. The willingness of each member to remain calm and help each other was remarkable. Not only did the officer only suffer minor head injuries and was released from Grady the same day, but the alleged driver that hit the officer was taken into custody in a nearby jurisdiction. Our officer made it home to his family. Thank you to the courageous citizen that stopped to render aid and to the dispatchers on the floor this day; your performance on this date surpasses excellence. They made working on this incident flawless and made ChatComm proud. Way to go, Day Shift!
