GOVERNANCE | IXP’s analysis ensures an alignment of organization leadership, and provides a framework for navigating through the process of achieving consensus on program vision, standards, and procedures. OPERATIONS | IXP reviews policies and procedures as well as recent performance and service level metrics and other information collected during the data-gathering phase of our process. This is combined with a comprehensive analysis of the workload and service requirements to determine efficient and effective staffing plans. The result is a roadmap to successfully meeting and exceeding performance and service level standards. 

TECHNOLOGY | IXP reviews the existing technology environment and service agreements while developing a detailed analysis of systems, components, network requirements, and applications. The scope can include CAD/RMS, 9-1-1/telephony, mobile technology, radio systems and infrastructure, GIS, logging and recording, and all other technologies utilized in your communications center. This information drives our recommendations for vendor-independent solutions that provide the “best fit” for optimizing system security, efficiency, and information availability while meeting and exceeding performance standards within budgetary constraints.

FACILITIES | IXP also assesses the physical environment of the center and will provide recommendations that limit exposure to threats while maintaining high availability and reliability of data and a secure work environment. Other considerations include: seamlessly integrating site selection, building design, diverse connectivity, and redundant systems to provide comfortable and efficient work environments that remain efficient under any circumstances—even unexpected ones.
