Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Require Hospitals to Develop More Specific Plans and Procedures for Emergency Response

CMS has finalized a rule that establishes consistent emergency preparedness requirements for health care providers participating in Medicare and Medicad. IXP’s Michael Anderson spoke to Emergency Management Magazine about the new requirements.
