IXP and Danbury Ct. partnership expected to save City $1 million per year

The City of Danbury, Ct. has partnered with IXP Corporation to consolidate the City’s 911 dispatch operations and provide highly trained and certified Telecommunicators. The partnership is expected to save the City $1 million per year. Currently the dispatch operations are conducted by Firefighters and Police Officers. The partnership will allow the departments to better utilize their manpower all while providing better emergency services to citizens.
